A few weeks ago, an elderly friend of mine living in the Portland area asked me for my help. She was getting ready to sell her house and needed an appraiser. I had called a few with no response, left a few messages and then called Bernhardt Appraisal. They answered right away. I explained the situation with Helga and her timeframe. He was extremely professional and thorough explaining the process and walked me through everything. We scheduled the appraisal. Nathan came out and completed the report in a timely manner. It was a pleasure to have someone that was professional, knowledgeable and a really nice guy to too! I would highly recommend Bernhardt appraisal to anyone seeking the services of a truly professional appraiser.

I have been in the Home Lending for over 25 years and ran across Nathan Bernhardt several years ago. With all the Appraisers I have used in the past he is the fastest, most honest and most thorough Appraiser I have ever used. Since 2010 I have not had the Choice in using Mr. Bernhardt because of the AMC’s but I asked his opinion on a clients home and he would do the Appraisal for free. INCREADABLE!!

I just completed a total renovation and it was important to have an appraiser that would really dive into the finishes and understand the journey. In my experience I have had appraisers basically do the appraisal prior to seeing and just do a drive by. Nathan not only listened, but he spent time with me helping me understand his process. He is a unicorn and someone that I will be recommending!!!

When I first called Nathan about an appraisal, he was extremely professional and flexible to what I needed, and I soon learned upon meeting him, that he was also very detail oriented and timely in his reports and drawings.
